The Paramedic Association of Manitoba is offering a two-day Difficult Airway Course on February 23 and 24, 2019. The course will run at the Association office from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on each day, and lunches will be included.

The Difficult Airway Course EMS, accredited by the Airway Management Education Center, teaches an evidence-based, algorithmic approach to the management of difficult and failed airways. The program incorporates simulated patient encounters with exposure to a full range of airway management techniques taught by faculty who know the unique challenges facing EMS providers. Students will gain experience using proven airway devices in small group sessions, practice decision-making and airway techniques in simulation and face the most challenging patient scenarios in a no-risk environment.

The registration fee for this two day course is $450.00 for PAM members and $550.00 for non-members, and includes the course textbook, registration fee charged by the Airway Management Education Center and lunches.
