Becoming a Paramedic

To become a paramedic in Manitoba, you must graduate from a paramedic education program approved by the College of Paramedics of Manitoba (CPMB) and successfully complete the national written examination administered by the Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators (COPR).

 

Approved Manitoba Based Education Programs

Pre-requisites and requirements vary. The most up-to-date information can be found on the individual websites below:

  • Criti Care EMS Inc.   
  • Red River College Polytechnic   

 

Licensing

Graduates of an approved education program who are successful in passing their COPR examination will then be eligible to register with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba.
