24/11/2015Massage Therapists Granted Self-Regulation
On November 24th, Manitoba Health Minister Sharon Blady announced she has accepted a recommendation made by the Health Professions Advisory Council that Massage Therapy should be regulated under the Regulated Health Professions Act. As a result, a self-regulating Manitoba College of Massage Therapists will be established.

Health Minister Releases HPAC Recommendation for Paramedic Self-Regulation
In a report delivered to Health Minister Sharon Blady on December 30, 2014, the Health Professions Advisory Council recommends that paramedics be regulated by a College of Paramedics following additional dialogue with and further evidence of satisfactory level of support from practitioners and stakeholders.
